Health and             "The keys to a happy and abundant life……

Wellness Program                    Living with Purpose !"

Our philosophy for an abundant life is simple and can be summed up in one expression, “Living with Purpose”. We see our residents as we see ourselves, and we feel most fulfilled when we are living a purposeful life.

Our Health and Wellness Program supports this pursuit by creating a well-balanced program that incorporates 6 different keys to wellness in life; Purpose driven, Physical, Emotional, Spiritual, Social and Intellectual.

Our Activities Program offers a wide range of events and entertainment for our residents enjoyment and leisure. Another aspect of ourscheduled activities is to allow residents their choice to be involved and to make a difference in our local community. Through our partnerships with local charities, children’s organizations and foundations; we offer our residents opportunities in which to be involved in caring for others. Whether its wrapping a present for a needy child’s birthday or helping our dietary department package up cookies for the meals-on-wheels program, residents can help make a difference in other people’s lives. We give our resident’s the “ability to make a difference” and “to feel needed” and we’ve been delighted with the happiness and smiles that this part of our program has brought.

Physical Well-Being

Good nutrition, rest and exercise can make a huge difference in the way that our residents feel. Our dietary program is nutritious and tasty and our use of seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables is instrumental for a well-rounded diet. Our meals are made from scratch, are approved by a licensed dietician and are prepared by our experienced dietary staff. Rest, exercise and fresh air is also very important and is encouraged through our activities, scheduled exercise program and soothing atmosphere.

Social, Emotional & Spiritual Connections

Our Activities Program is designed to give our residents a choice to attend multiple types of events, outings and functions that we schedule. Whether it’s a game of bingo, weekly scenic drive in our handicap accessible van, a concert off campus or a lecture here in our facility, our program is diverse. Our calendar of functions also include spiritual music and non-denominational services and events that are sacred and uplifting.

 Intellectual Stimulationintellectual stimulation

Exercising our minds keeps us keen and active. Our scheduled activities include multiple ways in which to involve our residents in current news reports and opportunities in which to learn and grow. Information on topics such as travel, leisure, arts, hobbies and health are presented to our residents through documentaries, outings and guest lecturers.
